Malinda Louise Ader, a 35 year old woman from Rapid City, disappeared on May 31, 2015, after being seen by a friend at her home on New York Street. Years passed without trace until March 31, 2020, when human remains were discovered by a groundskeeper at Elks Golf Course, and later confirmed through dental records to be hers. Known to have struggled with mental illness, drug addiction, and past suicide attempts, Ader's death was classified as an unattended death rather than a homicide.
